AFRDI Approval Products
Advanta has a number of Australasian Furnishing Research and Developmemt Institute (AFRDI) tested products. AFRDI operates a national system of quality testing and certification for furniture, furniture components and related products and materials, with the aim of lifting quality and longevity, safety, suitability for purpose and ultimately, benefiting sustainability through conservation of resources.

ECO 5 Rated Label
Products bearing the Eco 5 Rating on our website have been internally assessed by stringent environmental criteria and are good for the environment and human health.
The Eco 5 Rating assessment considers criteria including materials used, harmful substances, expected life cycle, packaging, separability, recyclability and emissions that are harmful to the environment. This is an internal checklist against key environmental assessment criteria important to the commercial furniture industry.

BIFMA (Business + Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association)
Advanta has a number BIFMA certified products. BIFMA certification ensures furniture meets rigorous safety, durability, and sustainability standards for commercial use. Products tested to BIFMA standards are built to perform reliably in demanding environments.
CATAS
CATAS is a leading European certification and testing body for furniture and wood-based products. A number of Advanta products carry this certification. A CATAS certified product guarantees high performance, durability, and compliance with international safety and quality standards.
FSC Timber (Forest Stewardship Council)
Our Kaeo collection is made from FSC-certified timber. Carrying this certification means that the timber comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. It ensures sustainable sourcing and helps protect forests for future generations.
GREENGUARD
GREENGUARD Certification confirms that a product meets strict chemical emissions limits, contributing to healthier indoor air quality. It’s ideal for spaces where people spend extended time, such as offices and schools.
